For your second alum, we have Stephanie (Kloos) Smith - a woman many talents and responsibilities. When reflecting on her experience to be a spotlight, she remembered:  "When I was in the Sports Leadership program, there weren't many folks who were interested in the same career path and I'd love to show others another angle you can take your career after graduation".  So, without further ado, I give you Stephanie!  1. Where are you now? And what are your job responsibilities?  I've been working at MIT in the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation dept. since 2006. My current job title is, Associate Director of Recreation, Programs and Fitness. I'm employed by a third party that MIT has hired to run their campus recreation program called, Health Fitness. Drumroll please, for your very first alumni spotlight......Taylor Fisher! In a recent email, he said "the program did so much for me and my career". Thank you, Taylor, for explaining how the program made it all possible. You're an inspiration to us all! Question 1: Where are you now? And what are your job responsibilities?  About a year and a half ago, I got hired to be part of the Business Development team with the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. We just completed our 40th season, 3rd in our brand new ballpark, First Tennessee Park. We just finished #1 in Minor League Baseball in largest average attendance increase from 2016 to 2017 (an increase of over 1,700 PER GAME from 2016 to 2017, averaging 8,861 fans per game!). We sold out 22 games (10,000+ fans). Business Development is essentially a fancy word for sales guy. This will be a place to keep up with alumni from years ago, get a look at the happenings of the program today, and be a tool to connect the past and the present for better networking opportunities.
